Application Process The application form should be completed in English and submitted with all of the following items, to the address on the bottom left of this page.  Please note we cannot return any of the documentation once they have been submitted. 1. Standard application form. 2.  An up-to-date curriculum vitae. 3. 1 recent passport-size photograph, affixed to the space  provided at the top of the application form. 4. 2 original, signed letters of reference (in either English or Japanese). Please try to send them together with your application.  However, if your referee is unable to provide you a reference letter in time, you may arrange for it to be send directly to us. Please read the notes at the end of the application form before completing and submitting the form. Selection Process The trustees of the Foundation will make preliminary selection of candidates on the basis of submitted applications.  The trustees will then conduct interviews of those candidates whose applications have passed this initial screening process before making a final decision. At the end of their studies, all successful applicants will be required to submit a report to the Trustees.
